let me tell you a little about chuck dennie
(or chuck d as we call him, and i think he likes to be called such)

chuck is my friend
and i am proud to say so
we have only known one another for a couple of years
but God has somehow knitted our hearts during that time

chuck is one of the coolest guys i know
and i mean the real cool
not the kind of cool you use to describe someone who is ok
he exudes cool

chuck is an amazing husband to joanne
and wonderful father to sarah kate
and they have another in the oven…

chuck is an incredible writer and singer
may of you will remember him
as the founder & lead singer of the band “by the tree”
his version of “beautiful one” still takes me there…

he is a great worship leader
leading at some of the greatest churches of our day
grace church in nashville with pastor lindell cooley
life church in oklahoma city with pastor craig groeschel
as well as numerous churches around the nation

but he is more than a worship leader
my favorite attribute of chuck dennie is
the man is a worshiper
he loves Jesus
and it shows
he is a true worshiper
one who seeks The Father in spirit & truth
he worships as much when someone else is leading
as he does when he is leading
it is a blast to be in a service
where chuck is worshiping and leading in worship
because you can feel his heart for God

august 26 – what a day!

august 26 is a day of milestones
i turn 40
and it is the official release of the

John Ragsdale’s The Sound will carry from generations to generations. Many times musical people write from their diverse gifts and skills, but listening to The Sound I can clearly see that God Almighty has entrusted John Ragsdale with the songs that are pouring from His heart. John has a wide variety of musical influences. His incredible musical adventure is second to none, but its exciting to see that none of these influences supersedes the breathtaking and overwhelming presence of God that you experience when you hear this album.
Individuals across the globe know and respect John as the artist, the father, the husband, the writer and/or the minister. As for me, it is mostly refreshing to know that John Ragsdale is the servant of Jesus Christ who’s kept his ears to the lips of God to consistently deliver exactly what God wants to hear from the hearts of His people on the earth.
