june 4 2000
changed us all
it continues to change us all
so today we remember that day
even though
its not about the day
its not about the man
its even not about what the man did on that day
its about the heart
the passion for more of Him
the hunger to see as much of Him as He will allow
the thirst that drives you into the driest of deserts
in search for the river
it about being slapped back into focus
pulled back into the purpose for which we were created
to see Him
to be like Him
thats what it is about
so today i have remembered
i will never forget
I will never forget that day. It was the beginning of a whole new depth of commitment and being closer to him like never before.
I still feel honored to have been on the guest list for that party. I’ve been forever changed!
I was so blessed to be in THE HOUSE [PromiseLand-Central] that day of days. I have never forgotten how He touched me, and how I rededicated myself to a stronger and deeper walk with Him. It was my pleasure then, and has been since, to have an “eternity walk with Him”. I can’t count the number of people I have shared that miraculous day with of our God-Encounter. He continues to hold me close to Him still in more ways than I can count. Thank you for this beautiful poem to commemorate THAT DAY!!
